Welcome to Springfield!

Located at the north of Otsego County in the heart of New York State, the Town of Springfield encloses the northern points of Otsego Lake and includes the intersection of NY Route 80 and U.S. Route 20.

Established in 1797, Springfield is rich in history, agriculture, recreational opportunities, and natural beauty. Springfield is also well known locally as "the place to be on the 4th of July" with Springfield's annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration taking place in the hamlet of Springfield Center since 1914.
