PLANNING BOARD MINUTES-DRAFT
On June 1, 2017 the regular meeting of the Springfield Planning Board was held at the community center.
Present were:
Laura Sikkema, Priscilla Barry, Gretchen Sorin, Rob Freeland
Jeannette Armstrong, Michelle Kennedy
Guests:
Bill Elsey, Harry Levine
Sikkema called the meeting to order at 7PM.
One garage was completed but there was no land use report. The clerk said she had two inquiries. One was about building a garage on the Kirkpatrick property on Route 30, and the other inquiry was about a subdivision or right of way in the lake district on the Salerno properties on Route 80. She advised both parties to contact the planning board and the assessor.
There was no public comment.
A motion was made by Sorin and seconded by Freeland to approve the minutes for May. A motion was made by Barry and seconded by Freeland to approve the minutes for April as amended. The words “and roof” will be eliminated from the
third paragraph in reference to the deck. A motion was made by Sorin and seconded by Barry to approve the minutes from the March meeting. Voted, carried, all votes aye.
Elsey reminded everyone of the second public hearing on the zoning regulations on June 5th at the community center at 6:30 PM.
A motion was made by Sikkema and seconded by Freeland to adjourn the meeting at 7:20 PM. Voted, carried, all votes aye.
